The advanced, 10-bit architecture of the Barco® MDCG-2121 enables 1,024 shades of gray simultaneously out of an existing palette of 4,096 shades. This produces the most accurate image possible on the screen and helps subtle details pop with less panning or zooming. Uniform luminance technology maintains consistent brightness levels across the screen, from the center to corner, so that no abnormality goes undetected. Additionally, the anti-reflective, protective front cover improves image contrast while preventing damage to the screen and making disinfecting easier and safer for the electronic components.
Automatic Calibration and QA Checks
As you progress through your daily workflow free of interruptions, the integrated MediCal QAWeb® software automatically calibrates the Barco® MDCG-2121 in alignment with medical standards, including DICOM, and conducts QA checks. Continuous DICOM Compliance in All Lighting Conditions
Whenever the lighting conditions around your workstation shift ever so subtly, the Barco® MDCG-2121 has you covered. Barco®'s patented ambient lighting compensation (ALC) technology a built-in, front-of-screen sensor continuously detects changes in the surrounding lighting and automatically adjusts monitor brightness in real-time to DICOM. I-Guard® technology further maintains DICOM compliance by correcting image quality, including grayscale values, in response to lighting changes.
